Huis ter Heide nature reserve is a hidden gem not far from Tilburg. You can enjoy walking, cycling, horse riding and dream away at the fens.
The Huis ter Heide Estate is a nature reserve of the Association of Natural Monuments. It is located between the towns of De Moer and Loon op Zand, northwest of Tilburg, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The size of the area is approximately 1000 hectares. Source: Wikipedia

This beautiful nature reserve with heathland and fens, herb-rich fields, varied forests and a former hunting lodge is a paradise for those seeking peace and quiet. In the past, this estate on the northern edge of Tilburg consisted of heathlands, popularly called 'wasteland'.
Huis ter Heide estate is located between the villages of De Moer and Loon op Zand, northwest of Tilburg. Walk or cycle through nature on the paths and choose from the various walking routes that Natuurmonumenten has mapped out.
