On a hill not far from Sanssouci and the New Palace is the Orangery, from which you have a good view over Potsdam and which in turn can be seen as the end point in many visual axes, for example from the Babelsberg Palace Park.

This is not the Belvedere but the Orangery Palace. At first glance it is very similar to the Belvedere on the Pfingstberg with its two square towers.
The Orangery Palace, also known as the New Orangery, was built by Friedrich Wilhelm IV in his residence city of Potsdam from 1851 to 1864 on the Bornstedt ridge, on the northern edge of the Sanssouci park. Based on his sketches, the architects Friedrich August Stüler and Ludwig Ferdinand Hesse designed a building in the Italian Renaissance style. The Orangery Palace houses a painting hall with copies of works by the Renaissance painter Raffael, former guest apartments and servants' apartments, some of which are available for museum purposes, and halls for overwintering the exotic potted plants from the Sanssouci park. The Orangery Palace is managed by the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG) and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990.
