The Jagdschloss Friedrichstal is a former hunting lodge that is now operated by the Jürgensen family as a farmers' café and restaurant. It is located in the small town of Quern in the Friedrichstal district in the fishing region, not far from the Baltic Sea or Flensburg Fjord.

Here is a little bit about the history of this hunting lodge. In 1618, Duke Hans the Younger bought the Nübel estate and built a manor house here in 1628. In 1750, Duke Friedrich von Glücksburg had the manor demolished again in order to reach a larger manor house on the trowel vaults. And this manor house is called the hunting lodge, because the hunting booty was happily eaten in the wide hall.

Around the manor there is still the wide moat with drawbridge, which is still 3/4 of the way. In 1789 the Friedrichstal leasehold was parceled out. The manor has been family-owned ever since. In 1999 the Jagdschloss Friedrichstal was extensively renovated, set up for the catering trade and has had the melodious name "Jagdschloss Friedrichstal" ever since.

Even today the following saying can be read on the brass sign (door knocker): "I was built in 1750 by Hertzog Friderich Friderichs Dahl, I am God Blessing and Governing All who keep here quartir."

In 1750 Duke von Glücksburg had this mansion built. At that time people gathered after the hunt in the wide hall on Friedrichstal to the damp-happy hunting feast.

In 1999, the property was refurbished after extensive renovations for the gastronomy.
