The bamboo grove Arashiyama is one of the most photographed sights of Kyoto.

Since the place is very popular, it is almost impossible to take pictures without tourists being in the picture. You should therefore avoid coming on weekends or public holidays and prefer to appear as early or late as possible. There are no opening hours, access is possible at any time.
