The French are finally upgrading sections of the Canal du Midi.
From La Redorte to Le Somail there are now sections of concreted paths. The current (Oct 2022) Open Cycle Map will need updating as surfaces are renewed and the Voie Verte changes sides of the canal. This gives fewer road sections.October 30, 2022
I recommend this little port of Somail with an old bookstore which is worth the detour.....
