In addition to the Preilipper Steg pedestrian and cyclist bridge, there is a ford with concrete slabs through the Saale. The ford is accessible from both sides. If the water level is low enough, you can get through on foot. The concrete slabs are slightly slippery due to the vegetation and you should watch your steps due to the current in the hall. Water shoes are doing quite well. On hot summer days, a nice Kneipp route to invigorate the feet.
