In the district of Campagna, outside the residential area of Maggia, is the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. The building was erected on the site of a votive chapel towards the end of the 15th century and later expanded. The rectangular church has a small entrance hall, a stone roof and a small bell tower. The smooth west wall has three small windows, while the profile of the chapel built in 1600 is visible on the east side. The modest exterior contrasts significantly with the rich interior. The frescoes on the walls and in the choir were installed between the 16th and mid-19th centuries. There are also numerous votive tablets dedicated to Our Lady. The oil painting entitled "I benefattori romani" by G. A. Vanoni from Aurigeno stands out from many pictures by unknown authors.
