In the Maggia valley there are some river suspension bridges over the sometimes very wide Maggia. One of the most beautiful of these is that at Giumaglio. The suspension bridge, which was built in 1997, has 2 sections, each with a span of 83 meters and a section of 82 meters in length. The total length is a fabulous 248 meters.
