The hill "La Colma" rises in the north of the villages of Verscio and Tegna. Halfway up there is a pilgrimage church (Sant'Anna) where you have a beautiful view of the area. The range of hills is only thinly forested. There are mainly sweet chestnuts, birches, oaks, beeches, poplars and overgrown palm trees. The bracken spreads on the ground.

The path is quite easy to walk to the Oratorio Sant'Anna. Above the Oratorio it becomes a real Ticino mountain path with granite stairs. From Colma you have a good view over the flood plains of the Maggia and the Melezza.
