Tillenberge Nature Reserve

To the north-east of the Vechte lies the juniper-rich heathland on the inland dunes of the Tillenberge.

A completely different landscape to the surroundings. A quiet walk to take your mind off things.The Vechte flows directly through the NSG, so there are several tributaries, still waters and ditches. Moors form in these damp depressions. There is forest and heathland all around.The area has been a nature reserve since 2001.
