Tips
The cemetery is still on the old height of the mound of Toonwerd. Large parts of the mound have been excavated for the fertile soil. In the churchyard, which is still in use, there is a small tower from 1894.

The tower stands in the cemetery of the church that was demolished in 1818. The cemetery has a number of 17th and 18th century gravestones.
