Coming here from the Komödienplatz in the Südharz Nature Park, a small wooden bridge leads over the Wieda to Woffleben. The water is still rippling a little, but very often you can only see the stones of the river bed because it has dried out. Because the Wieda disappears from time to time underground, one of the many phenomena in the South Harz karst landscape.

The Holy Corner is an agricultural area on the right hand side along the south bank. There are mostly cows here, but corn is also grown on part of the area.
The small karst river Wieda flows under the bridge. Sometimes it only flows underground, but there can also be floods here and the adjacent fields can flood.
