Hiking

The Schwörerhaus from the 16th century was built during the reign of Emperor Rudolf II of Habsburg and survived the Thirty Years' War. It was used as a salt and wine press house in later centuries and is now a protected monument.

The inscription on the facade indicates the year of construction as 1578, but the cellar is even older (1525). In 1723, the building is referred to as the salt and wine press house of the municipality and serves as the residence of the Michael's chaplain. Later also called "Pulverturm" (powder tower). It has been owned by the Schwörer family since 1898. The Alemannic "stilts" half-timbered house is a protected monument.
