Hiking
On July 28, 1944, the church burned down to its perimeter walls during an air raid. A communion chalice, a communion jug, and the dented weather vane from the church tower survived. In 1953/1954, under the direction of architect Willi Knörzer, the church was largely rebuilt on its original ground plan.
