The Pfaffensee is the oldest of the Stuttgart park lakes.
Due to the acute lack of water in the Nesenbach and the increasing complaints of the millers based on the Nesenbach, the Glems was impounded in 1566 by the order of Duke Christoph in the former moor area of the Pfaffenwiese.

Lowest point: approx. 7 m
Width: 65 - 140 m
Length: 700 m
Catchment area: 3.5 km²

A great view. The path is also worthwhile with a stroller, even if it is a bit bumpy. Take a seat and enjoy.

Just beautiful, like the whole way around the lakes, you have to stop and look and take pictures again and again
