The old post office on Bahnhofstrasse is an imposing, solid brick building with its white plastered front and windows framed with clinker bricks. The words "Post Office" are still emblazoned above the entrance portal, but the building, which was built in 1896/1897, has not been used for this purpose for a long time and is currently empty. The post office is in the local Rewe supermarket.

The two-storey post office, built from 1896 to 1897, was commissioned by the Reichspost. The construction contractor Ferdinand Binge took over the execution.

The post office is a massive brick construction and has a plastered facade. The two-storey building is divided into five axes and has a hipped roof. The coach house in the courtyard also belongs to the listed ensemble.

The building is located at Bahnhofstrasse 33a and is currently not in use.
