The wooden church of St. Benedictus in Sieber, clad with slate, is a gem. It was built in 1887 in the then contemporary Nordic style and replaced a 200-year-old smaller previous building. The pulpit, altar, lectern, stalls and gallery come from the Sieberan master carpenter Karl Reuper. The beautiful stained glass windows above the altar were used by the Sieberan glass cutter Karl Bruns. The exterior cladding was done with natural Harz slate. It has a ringing consisting of three bronze bells of impressive clarity and with a large volume of sound. The organ, which was restored in 2008, was completely redesigned using the historical Engelhardt case and, with its 27 registers and over 1,500 pipes, sets a special accent in terms of organ construction.

The tower clock was donated by the community in 1887 and was thoroughly overhauled by a member of the church council in 1968, so that it still works flawlessly to this day.
