Opened in September 2013. Colorful, like the diversity of the residents in the capital and an eye-catcher even in passing.

Hindu temple, which opened as the first of its kind in Berlin in 2013. The sacred building was modeled on a temple in Jaffna (Sri Lanka) and is mainly visited by Tamils. A famous Indian sculptor's workshop and Indian craftsmen were involved in the construction and equipment (source: Berliner Woche, August 15, 2018). I think you don't have to be a believer to be impressed by the building. According to the report from the above-mentioned source, the building can even be entered if certain rules are observed (taking off shoes, not taking photos, no alcohol and no smoking).
