The Hercules crane (hand-operated) is reminiscent of the storage areas for goods on this bank here. A track from the western to the eastern harbor has also been preserved. The Untermainkai, today a waterfront promenade and park, between Untermainbrücke and Westhafen on the northern bank of the Main is one of the oldest docks in the city of Frankfurt am Main. Until the 19th century, the quay was located on a narrow tributary of the Main, the Little Main, which was filled in 1859. The historic loading crane on the former Nizza shipyard recalls the harbor past.
