Music Pavilion, Kurpark Reichenau an der Rax

The well-tended spa park in Reichenau an der Rax is a real gem for those seeking peace and quiet and those who love plants. Here you can walk through nature on curved paths and over small bridges. A special highlight in the spa park is the elaborately designed music pavilion, which was built in 1909 and is now a listed building.

The Reichenauer Kurpark and its pavilion have been the epitome of the local architectural style since 1892. The spa park was laid out by landscape gardener Franz Erban on an area of 30,000 m² in the middle of our beautiful spa town. After the paths and green spaces had been completed, a fountain was built in 1906. The main features of the Reichenau spa park have hardly changed since then. In 1993, an extensive park maintenance system was created, in which all maintenance measures are specified, which guarantee the unchanged existence of the park area.
Concerts, the fire brigade festival and Reichenau Advent take place every year in the area of the pavilion.
