Historic gardens and garden houses on the edge of the classicism quarter in Alt-Arnsberg.

Garden house "Twiete 6"

The garden house, probably built between 1830 and 1850, is particularly pretty due to its form borrowed from the Baroque period and the later decorative gable with pilaster framing, and according to oral tradition, it has always looked crooked. The half-timbered construction, clad in natural Sauerland slate, stands on a solid base and has large windows to the north, south and west, which have always invited visitors to look out over the landscape.

The garden house belonged to the residential building at Königstrasse 24 and was renovated in the 1930s and finally listed as a historical monument in 1983.
