Nestled among holm oaks and crags, this small Romanesque church has watched over the valley for more than a thousand years. It is said that it once served as a refuge for travelers crossing the Congost gorge, and that on stormy nights the monks would light a lamp in the highest window to guide those coming from the road. Even today, as evening falls, the place retains that air of a silent beacon among the mountains.
