In the town of Figaró-Montmany in the Vallès Oriental region, there is a pleasant excursion called Ruta del Arbres de Vallcàrquera, which runs alongside the Vallcàrquera stream where there are a couple of fountains, a beautiful waterfall and many types of trees. The first part of the excursion is ideal to go with very young children because it has hardly any unevenness and it is a fairly short section.
