Keltenhütte Donnersberg

The hiking hut is located on the Donnersberg, the highest point of the Palatinate, in the middle of the forest and yet easily accessible by bike or by car. The Keltenhütte belongs to the PWV of the OG Kirchheimbolanden. The Celtic Hut is open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Starting point for long hikes, resting place for lunch and coffee, Here you can find dishes from the Palatinate and cooling drinks for hungry and thirsty hikers.

Outside, the surrounding trees provide shade. Of course, on cooler days it can be a little bit fresher. Fortunately, the cabin has a spacious interior. A very welcome refreshment when hiking on the mountain.

Very nice hut on the hill of the Donnersberg with Palatinate specialties. Ideal for summer, but also worth a trip in autumn. The Ludwigsturm is very close by. The Celtic hut on the Donnersberg is the property of our local group. The hut is open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In addition to typical hut food and drinks, a changing daily meal is offered.
