This impressive stone sculpture was created by Adolf Mayer from Tramin in South Tyrol in 2010.
The stone berries of the red Riesling are made of porphyry rock, those of the white Riesling are made of granite pebbles.

The "Wine and Stone Adventure Trail" presents interesting facts about wine, grape varieties, geology, climate, history, lifestyle, flora and fauna of the region at 77 stations and with numerous illustrated signs over a distance of 6.9 km (shortcuts possible).
