Ernest Hemingway and the Great War are a structured and shared duo in the world. Fossalta di Piave remains, in memory, the battlefield where he was wounded in 1918. Enlisted as a volunteer as an ambulance driver for the US section of the Red Cross, his experience on the Italian front earned him the silver medal for military valor. Today, at the behest of the Municipality, an illustrated path runs through the historical memory of events and places.
