The Casoni di Romagna wind farm is a wind energy production plant located in the homonymous fraction of the municipal territory of Monterenzio and Castel del Rio, in the metropolitan city of Bologna.

The wind farm is the largest in northern Italy and consists of 16 turbines ... 2 of which are located in the territory of Castel del Rio, on the border with Tuscany, while the remaining 14 in the territory of Monterenzio, near the small agglomeration of Casoni di Romagna.

The park extends along the ridge of the mountain for about 4 km, with a distance between the turbines of about 200 m.

4 turbines are located in the southern part, which extends along the ridge overlooking the Idice Valley.

The turbines have a height of 60 m each and a rotor diameter of 53 m.
