The ruins of a Gothic castle, built by lords from Rýzmburk at the beginning of the 14th century. In 1335, the castle was bought by Margrave Karel (later Karel IV). In 1434, it was conquered by the Hussites. At the end of the 16th century it ceased to serve as a manor house, was abandoned and from the beginning of the 17th century. let loose.

The castle ruins of Kostomlaty/ Kostenblat (also Sokuskav) tower over the valley, founded at the beginning of the 14th century by the Lords of Ossegg, fell into disrepair around 1600, and were revived as an excursion restaurant around 1840. Film-ready setting. And cool 🍺.

Kostomlaty are the ruins of a noble castle from the first half of the 14th century on the Kostomlaty hill above the village of Kostomlaty pod Milešovka, after which they got their name. It is a bergfrit-type castle with a two-part layout. It became part of the Kostomlatský predicate of Vřesovice. It was abandoned at the end of the 16th century. It has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 1964
