Tips

  • The sculpture is part of the sculpture trail.
A frame made of welded wire mesh was densely filled with segments of tree trunks by the students. Through the opening in the middle of the circular shape that has been created, the view is directed to sections of the vast landscape and their perception is sharpened. The clear, round shape - "A Perfect Circle" - symbol of perfection - creates an exciting contrast to the dominant horizontal of the north German landscape. In 2007, Pablo Hirndorf received 1st prize from the jury for this property. Students of the grammar school and the vocational training center Dr. Jürgen Ulderup were involved in the creation.

In 1992, Hirndorf completed the Fine Art course at the University of Applied Sciences in Hanover as a master student. In 1993 he received a studio grant from the state of Lower Saxony.
