Heimat-Tierpark Olderdissen - open 24 hours
The home animal park Olderdissen is a popular destination for families with children, for kindergartens and school classes. Here many children see their first forest and wildlife live and in color. Over 450 animals in 90 different species can be observed. Some animals are found in the wild only rarely or not at all anymore.
The enclosures, which corresponded to the previously practiced display of the animals, have been replaced in recent years by facilities that correspond to the latest zoological findings of a largely species-appropriate animal husbandry.

On the weekend during the busy days, Olderdissen should probably be the most popular destination for family outings in Bielefeld. The park is open 24/7/365 and free, donation boxes are in the area of the entrance to the old farmyard.
Since somewhere always an enclosure is renovated, expanded or redesigned, there is always something new to see even after years.
