At the Spitzelberg vantage point, which is 317 m above sea level, visitors can look down into the Main valley. The enjoyment is a little clouded by the A 70 motorway, which is located directly at the foot of the viewpoint. Above the panorama panel and a bench with a table is a historic sandstone cross and next to it a grotto with the Holy Sepulcher of Jesus. This is also where the border between Upper and Lower Franconia runs.

Nice vantage point into the Main valley, unfortunately affected by the massive noise of the motorway.
The district border Bamberg / Haßberge and the border between the administrative districts of Upper and Lower Franconia go almost exactly through the summit cross.
