The treasure trove "Beschert Glück" was one of the most profitable mines around Freiberg and was operated from 1697 to 1899. Coming from Freiberg on the left side of the street you will find the Huthaus, Scheidebank and Maschinenhaus on the vast and now largely overgrown heap. The water for the machines was supplied via an artificial ditch - you can still see the florets at the end of the dump today. The old ore bunker is also located there. A small staircase leads further down and you can still see the hatches in the high wall today.
