The pilgrimage church is designed as a Roman amphitheater. The more than 1,600 seats are located in the hemisphere. The altar and seating are covered. In between there is an uncovered so-called "Light Court" that is intended to allow the visitor to experience the connection with nature. Above the seats there is a processional corridor, along which the history of Boniface is displayed.
