The Protestant village church of Schenkenberg is a neo-baroque hall church.
The original building was built in 1685 and was a branch church of Baumgarten. On September 11, 1898, there was a fire on the neighboring estate for unknown reasons. Due to strong winds, the fire spread to the adjacent farm buildings and ultimately to the church. In April 1900, work began on the reconstruction in the neo-baroque style.
