The average gradient on the paved road toward Zoncolan is around ten percent. But this climb is considerably more pleasant than the extremely steep climb up from Priola. About four kilometers before the top of the pass, the two roads merge. From there, cyclists are treated to nothing, with gradients up to 23 percent (at one point even briefly reaching 27 percent).
