From 2011 to 2017, the historic park structure was restored here on the basis of the plans by Peter J. Lenne (1843) and H. Vollert (1859).
This area of the castle park is currently only open on Fridays, public holidays and weekends from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A single, secluded passage leads to the large island pond beyond the railway. We only found our way here using the app and were the only visitors. From a bench on the headland you can still look east as if into endless depths. Nevertheless, in reality there is a 2 meter high wall facing the open field just behind the bushes.
