On the top of the mountain, resting on a rock spur, there is a small church dedicated to the Madonna Regina del Monte Stella. This Madonna has been venerated for centuries, whose primordial effigy was initially placed in a Benedictine abbey dating back to the early fourteenth century, unfortunately poorly recovered in the early 1970s.
