Tips

Over trodden roots and round boulders it goes along the east bank, past the dead, pale spruce trunks, the green regrowing trees and later over wooden planks and yellow gravel. When the weather is nice, the water of the Oder pond is a great opportunity to cool off.

Who parks in the parking lot Oderteich, reached about this "beautiful wooden path" after about 2 km the stamp post 217 "sun cap Oderteich".

Yes, a super nice round, which you can expand as you like, for example. Then direction Torfhaus or other side back to the moat.

The eastern shore of the Oderteich is just awesome for me.
It is with the way to the foot of the dam on the overflow along the highlight

A path around the Oderteich which is a bit difficult to make because the root system has already freed itself from the earth, but very scenic

The boardwalks on the east bank are newly made and lead through high moor.
The spruce forest has largely died. DiebWege must not be left, because Natonalpark! In the southwest area up to the chain Baden is allowed. On the southeastern shore beautiful round large boulders. Bus stop line 82o St. andreasberg 2 hourly

Great, rather unusual way to a beautiful lake! To go a bit exhausting, as I said, wear sturdy shoes and stop to look!

The path itself is very beautiful. It's just a shame that the bark beetle destroyed a lot there. It would be nice if new trees could be planted there. Perhaps it could have happened ... The overall picture is not nice with the many destroyed trees.

Great, natural path on planks and with lots of roots. Sturdy shoes are advisable.

A bit slippery on the many roots when it rains.

Beautiful circular route, but requires safe footing on root paths. And do not be afraid to have close encounters with other hikers and dogs on the stable boardwalks. For those who prefer lonely walks, this tour should not be on a sunny weekend.

"The floor is lava" Do you still remember the game from your childhood, where you jump from object to object without touching the ground? This section is ideal for some "action" with children on your tour around the lake. Bring sturdy shoes and be careful when crossing the lava;)
