Well my first day in the Lake District on a five week long mission and I had horizontal rain and didn't see a thing. I walked along lake Ennerdale so at least got some low level views. Stunning area but so nothing above 350 meters. Got to do it again I suppose!

Little Gowder Crag can be hiked (or bypassed entirely) when walking the ridge between Haycock and Caw Fell. I like to give it a visit. It's a blocky little scramble alongside a wall. Whilst it isn't a Wainwright fell, Little Gowder Crag is both a Nuttall and a Birkett.
