Lakkos Mygerou Trailhead and Shelter

For a few years now, you have been able to drive from Livadia along the road to this unmanned hut. There are plenty of parking spaces there and anyone who wants to set off for Psiloritis first thing in the morning before sunrise can spend the night here. The hut has a fireplace and a stove (you have to bring your own wood or look for it in the area) and 4 beds (mattress). There is a toilet, but it takes some getting used to (2017). There was no running water, although there are taps.
If the stove is well heated, you can also cook on it.

Good parking and launch site to climb the mountain. Unfortunately, you can no longer stay overnight here and unfortunately I can't think of a word about what toilets used to be.In fact, a few heavily laden people who slept on the summit came towards us.
This is possible with the right equipment.The ascent is also possible without experience in mountaineering, but it is also not a walk. But the view is worth the effort.
