In Fankel, for example, you can find the medieval ensemble in Rathausstrasse and Brunnenstrasse, which consists of the Catholic branch church, the church gate, the council and Playhouse, the Engelporter Hofhaus, the Stetziges courtyard house, the Christopherushaus and several floating gable and stair-gable houses. Together with the floating gable houses in Bruttig, Bruttig - Fankel forms the center of medieval floating gables in Germany. ... "
