Since 1743/45, the new green alley, once planted entirely with white horse-chestnut trees, leads from Schönbrunner Grünen Tor to Laxenburg. As a straight line, it has almost been preserved: at the beginning of a traffic-intensive access to the highway ("Altmannsdorfer branch"), then a line through residential areas, shopping malls and later a historical path again planted recreational path. ...

The Schönbrunner Allee in Vösendorf crosses the historic Wiener Neustädter Canal and today forms a well-known starting point for cycling and hiking tours in this region.
