Scoat Fell is a Wainwright in the Western Lake District. Its summit is rather underwhelming in comparison to its neighbours - Pillar, Red Pike and Steeple. An impressive dry stone wall runs along the summit at 2,759 feet (841 m). I love the view to Steeple from here. On a clear day you can see beyond this across the Solway Firth to Scotland.

Scoat Fell is a bit indistinct in comparison to its neighbours and the high point is actually unmarked unless somebody can tell me otherwise? Indistinct or not, it has beautiful all round views and is another UK designated Nuttall.

Scoat Fell is a ridgeline summit with a cairn and windbreak at 2,759 feet (841 m). It's just south of Steeple and often run in combination with that summit and Pillar.
