Hiking Highlight
A fixed rope, iron fences and a ladder lead up to the Geissalphorn. Despite the fixed rope, the climbing site is not to be underestimated and climbing technically classified in the lower 2nd degree.

Very beautiful summit that is not as crowded as the neighboring Rubihorn.
Coming from Niederegg there is, however, a somewhat more difficult point, which is defused with a wire rope.
Surefootedness and a head for heights are absolutely necessary!

Challenging ascent, climbing required, difficult passages with a narrow path - this is rewarded with unique tranquility and gigantic views!

From the Rubihorn over the degree it should go to the Gaisalphorn ... the tour was beautiful, until shortly below the summit came an exposed and descending point on both sides, where you should be very sure about heights. For me the tour ended at this point without climbing equipment because it was too dangerous for me here.

This ladder leads you over a steeper section. The ascent to the Gaisalphorn is really great and fun. But you should really be free from giddiness.

It's great that you can only get to this summit if you have the courage, endurance and the right equipment. Are from Rubihorn over this summit. Great view. The small climbing section is challenging but can be done. It is easier to manage from the Rubihorn

Ascent to the Gaishorn with via ferrata only as an experienced hiker with confidence and you have to be absolutely free from giddiness.
