Hiking
The Waldkugel natural forest reserve is a forest area in the southeast of Würzburg that was designated as a nature reserve in 2002. It is located between Würzburg-Heidingsfeld and Reichenberg, and includes parts of the Würzburg city forest and the state forest of the municipality of Reichenberg. The 74.7 ha area has not been used for forestry since 1999. The aim is to ensure that the forest develops as naturally as possible and to safeguard the existing biodiversity.
