In any case, this little moated castle is worth a (bicycle) trip. The castle is located in the Hagen district Vorhalle in the Ruhr valley at the foot of the legendary Kaisberg. Approximately 15 min walk bring hikers to Harkortsee. If you want to have a nice breakfast on the weekends, you can do it at the breakfast buffet. For more information please ask because I do not know if you can have breakfast all year round. There are homemade pies or something hearty from the Westphalian Vesperkarte. Specialty are the buttermilk waffles. A very special highlight is the Museum of Prehistory and Early History.
