More interesting than the deer enclosure I find the wonderful grove of old oaks, which is rare in this form. In 1648, at the end of the Thirty Years' War, it was planted as a peace grove, later as a woodland pasture, and is now partly a game preserve. In the meantime, they have discovered the rare beetle beetles that depend on this special biotope with old and dead wood.
