No entry is required when the kiosk is closed. The climb is definitely worth it, the view is breathtakingly beautiful. In front of the tower there is a large lawn with a barbecue area. The tower is open every day and the kiosk is usually open on weekends and public holidays (when the kiosk is open, the flag is on the tower).
