A bit hidden behind a farm, right next to the former ski lift (the locals know about it) is the Peretshofener Höhe. Coming from the east, although picturesque, but not spectacular, behind the crest there is an ingenious view over the Isar valley and the Alpine ridge from the Wendelstein to the Allgäu. A shady bench invites you to take a break and enjoy. Definitely a worthwhile detour.
