Wonderfully located. The Thanninger pond actually consists of 3 consecutively situated pond. As far as I have seen, swimming is prohibited there. You only see strollers and anglers. Very picturesque.

The Thanninger Weiher are a very worthwhile destination. Never crowded, quiet, where you can switch off properly. Someone with a camera on the road will be thrilled. From various dragonfly and butterfly species, to birds and amphibians, you get everything in front of the lens. And of course the scenery is incredible !!!
